Introduction:
Thiodicarb is a carbamate pesticide that works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase activity. Derived from carbamic acid, carbamate pesticides kill insects similarly to organophosphate insecticides and find widespread use in gardens and agriculture. It is effective against all stages of major Lepidoptera and Coleopteran pests, as well as some Hemiptera, on crops such as cotton, soybeans, maize, fruit, vegetables, and many others.
