Introduction:
Metribuzin is a pre- and post-emergence herbicide used to control grasses and broad-leaved weeds in soybeans, potatoes, barley, wheat, sugarcane, tomato, peas, and lentils. It is a selective, 1,2,4-triazinone herbicide with contact activity. It acts by inhibiting photosynthesis through the disruption of photosystem II.
