Introduction:
Bispyribac-sodium is a post-emergence herbicide that belongs to the class of pyrimidinyl carboxy herbicides. It inhibits plant amino acid synthesis by targeting acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS). It is used to control grasses, sedges, and broad-leaved weeds in rice. Bispyribac-sodium has selective and systemic action, being absorbed by both foliage and roots.
