Its mechanism of action, similar to other neonicotinoids, disrupts the insect&#8217;s nervous system by stimulating nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. Thiacloprid selectively binds to the postsynaptic nicotinergic receptor, thereby disrupting signal transmission within the insect\u2019s nervous system.
