Introduction:

Hexaflumuron is an insecticide primarily used to control larvae of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Homoptera, and Diptera species. It functions as an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), specifically inhibiting the growth of insects by affecting chitin biosynthesis, particularly CHS1. Hexaflumuron acts systemically with stomach action, targeting pests through ingestion.
