Tebuconazole, belonging to the Triazole class, is a broad-spectrum fungicide with systemic and broad-range activity.  Acting as a demethylase inhibitors (DMI) interfere in the process of building the structure of the fungal cell wall. This finally inhibits the reproduction and further growth of the fungus. Tebuconazole has good durability in soil and on seeds and is resistant to high temperature. Planting wheat seeds treated with tebuconazole at a depth of more than 50 mm may reduce the establishment of the plant in heavy soils with low temperature.
