BENEFITS
- It provides high resistance of the plant against fungal attack, especially Oomycetes type: Pythium, Phytophthora and Mildiu.
- “Direct action” mode – against the fungus, preventing sporulation. Fungus growth is affected because the phosphite competes with phosphate in cellular metabolism, thus, the processes involved in the energy transfer of the fungus are slowed and may even become blocked.
- “Indirect action” mode – because the plant is providing greater resistance to fungus attack, promoting the production and accumulation of phytoalexins and tissues lignification. Phosphites cause changes in the cell wall of fungi Oomycetes, producing the cell fragments detachment which act as external elicitors, triggering the activation of the plant’s defence mechanisms.
- Systemic product of rapid absorption, so it has good resistance to washing by rain and protection bodies formed after treatment.
- Increases growth, elongates internodes and increases flowering and fruiting. Zinc acts as a stabilizer of the chlorophyll molecule. As a constituent is part of more than 80 enzymatic systems. Participates in the synthesis of auxins, plant hormones involved in growth. It is a regulator of gene expression.
