Introduction:

Basagaran M 60 is a selective, contact and post-emergence weed killer. This herbicide contains 40% bentazone from the benzothiazinone group and 6% MCPA from the phenoxycarboxylic acid group. Basagran M 60 is a contact herbicide that is mainly absorbed by the green parts of weeds. The mechanism of action of bentazone is inhibition of photosynthesis in photosystem II and its inhibition symptoms appear in a short time. The mechanism of action of MCPA is inhibition of auxin synthesis. Basagran M 60 can control hard and aggressive broad-leaved weeds, including Alisma plantago, Cyperus spp. and Monochoria vaginalis in rice fields.
