Introduction:
Iprodione + Carbendazim is a combination fungicide that works as both a contact and systemic treatment. Iprodione acts as a contact fungicide, preventing spore germination and fungal mycelium growth. Meanwhile, Carbendazim is a systemic fungicide that is absorbed by roots and foliage, inhibiting beta-tubulin synthesis and preventing germ tube development, appressoria formation, and mycelial growth. This combination is effective against a range of fungal diseases including Septoria, Fusarium, Erysiphe, Pseudocercosporella, Botrytis, Monilia, Sclerotinia, Alternaria, Corticium, Phoma, Rhizoctonia, and Typhula in sunflowers, cereals, and fruit trees.
