Introduction:
Downy-G Fungicide contains 8% Metalaxyl and 64% Mancozeb, making it a strong protector of crops against fungal diseases. Its dual-action formula controls many fungal diseases and helps crops stay healthy and productive. Mancozeb works by disrupting lipid metabolism, while Metalaxyl has systemic action that prevents new infections and stops fungal growth by interfering with RNA polymerase I. Downy-G is effective against foliar and soil-borne diseases caused by Oomycete fungi, including Downy mildew, late blight, damping-off, and Phytophthora rots. It can be used for seed treatment, foliar spray, nursery drench.
